I recently shared about a sobering emergency room visit involving a cardiac issue I had.
As a result of that visit, I’ve made some lifestyle changes regarding how I eat and how I exercise to ensure healthier outcomes going forward.
I’ve been on WeightWatchers for three weeks now and went to weigh-in this morning. As of today I’ve lost another -2.6 lbs for a total loss of -9.2 lbs.
So far so good.
Additionally, I’ve committed to exercising everyday.
To help me in that regard, I purchased a Nike+ Fuelband and app for my iPhone.
Here’s how Nike explains the product:
And after three days of using it – here’s the video I shot on Sunday featuring my daughter…
I’m continuing to wear it, and I’m surprised at how motivating the system is – much more so than a pedometer or other tricks I’ve tried in the past. So, I’ll keep doing it and WeightWatchers as long as I can.
My hope and ultimate goal is that they’ll both become permanent lifestyle changes t0 help me win the battle against myself.
Question: What have you done to keep yourself motivated to make a significant change?
